Topic vs Custom Script

When to generate a script from a topic versus bring a finished script.

Topic mode

  • The pipeline researches, writes, reviews, and adjusts the script from your prompt.
  • Length hints apply when the app writes the script.

Custom script mode

  • The app preserves your authored source and builds a spoken-safe internal version for TTS.
  • Custom scripts are longform projects and do not use the target-length selector.
