Why progress can appear to move backward after recovery.
Why it happens
- Workers can restart or recover from durable project state.
- The pipeline may revisit an earlier visible stage to verify or rebuild dependent artifacts.
- Completed artifacts are reused when their fingerprints and receipts are still valid.
What to do
- Let recovery continue unless the project fails or stops changing for an extended period.
- Contact support with the latest step and timestamp if it loops.
