Terms of Service
Last updated: April 11, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using Topic to Video (“we,” “us,” or “our”) at topictovideo.com. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Topic to Video, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Topic to Video. By using the platform, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
3. Description of Services
Topic to Video provides an AI-assisted video production platform that enables you to:
- Generate research-backed scripts from a topic prompt.
- Produce narration audio, AI-generated visuals, captions, thumbnails, and companion short-form clips.
- Preview your production and approve it before rendering.
- Render, download, or publish completed videos (paid plans).
- Optionally connect a YouTube channel to publish videos directly (paid plans).
The free tier provides one complimentary preview with limited AI revision credits. Rendering, downloading, and publishing require a paid subscription.
4. Account Registration and Security
You must create an account via Clerk to use the platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at help@m.topictovideo.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
5. User Obligations and Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Topic to Video to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Submit content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
- Upload malicious files, attempt to compromise platform security, or access other users’ data.
- Abuse, harass, or harm others through content generated or published via the platform.
- Circumvent usage limits, quotas, or access controls.
You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to all content you upload (including character images, music, and scripts), and that your use of those materials does not infringe any third-party rights.
6. Payments and Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method at the then-current subscription rate until you cancel. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with advance notice.
Rendering, downloading, and publishing videos are gated behind a paid subscription. Add-on features (such as AI music generation and higher image resolution) are billed as additional line items on your subscription.
If you choose Developer Billing (with your own API keys), your monthly subscription fee is still billed by us through Stripe, but provider usage is billed directly to your own OpenRouter and ElevenLabs accounts. That provider-billed usage can include research, script generation, editor chat, scene image generation, thumbnail generation, narration, and AI music generation. Any project-cost examples we publish for Developer Billing are approximate guidance only, not a guaranteed quote.
7. User Content and Outputs
You retain ownership of all content you upload and all video outputs generated from your projects. You are solely responsible for reviewing AI-generated outputs before publishing and for ensuring they comply with applicable laws and platform policies.
By submitting content to Topic to Video, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and transmit that content solely as necessary to operate the platform and deliver the service to you. We do not use your content to train AI models or for advertising purposes.
8. YouTube Features and YouTube Terms of Service
If you connect a YouTube channel to use publishing features, your use of those features is also governed by the YouTube Terms of Service. You are responsible for ensuring your published content complies with YouTube’s policies, including community guidelines and copyright rules.
You may disconnect your YouTube account at any time from the Publishing section of your Settings page. Disconnecting removes your stored credentials from our systems but does not delete any videos already published to YouTube.
9. Third-Party Services
Topic to Video relies on third-party services including Clerk, Stripe, Google/YouTube, AI model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter), ElevenLabs, Cloudflare R2, Neon, and others. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service. Your use of such services is subject to their own terms and policies. If you use Developer Billing, your OpenRouter and ElevenLabs usage is also billed under those providers' own commercial terms.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Topic to Video is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any generated content will meet your requirements.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Topic to Video and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
12. Termination and Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms, engaged in abusive or fraudulent activity, or created risk or legal exposure for us or others. We may also terminate or suspend access for nonpayment of subscription fees. Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases and your project data may be deleted in accordance with our retention policy.
13. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved exclusively in the state courts located in Gwinnett County, Georgia, or, if federal jurisdiction applies, in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
14. Disputes
Disputes shall be resolved through the court system described above. Nothing in these Terms requires you to submit to binding arbitration or waive your right to participate in a class action.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
